New Jalpaiguri Station (NJP) is the nearest railway station which is around 62 kilometers away from Darjeeling. You can book a cab from the station itself. But if you want to travel by bus to Darjeeling then from NJP you have to come to Tenzing Norgay Central Bus Terminus at Siliguri. This is located at around 8 kilometers away from NJP and is on Hill Cart Road. You can take a auto to reach there.
You can also take the Toy Train to Darjeeling from NJP itself. But, it will take around 5-6 hours to reach Darjeeling.
